Power lines criss cross this architectural detail of the fire escape of the Clovis Hotel in Clovis, New Mexico. The red steel stairs provide a boundary between blue sky and the yellow orange brick ten storey hotel which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It was first opened in 1931, but no longer operates as a hotel.
